The physiotherapists mainly assess for children’s impairments and disabilities for promotion of mobility, functional abilities, quality of lives and movements potentials. The goal of our physiotherapists is to restore hope for limb function and assist each child to reach his/her full physical potentials.
As the backbone of the service, the Carer Assistant is the vital link that transforms specialist strategies into daily reality. By spending the most consistent 1:1 time with the child, they act as the “eyes and ears” for the Multidisciplinary Team, providing the essential feedback needed to update Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs). Without their daily dedication to delivering sensory diets, mobility routines, and communication support, the wider team’s expertise could not be effectively realised.
Special needs education is implemeted by our instructors who apply differentiated learning approaches to suit each childs individual learning abilities. This is carried out individually and within small groups. These support a child to achieve academic and life long skills according to their ability.
Occupational therapy ensures that our children learn to participate in activities of daily living independently. These include work (academics and vocational skills), leisure (play) and self care (bathing, dressing, brushing etc).
Our children may have physical and/or cognitive challenges, our duty is to guide them to the their full potential.
Parents are also supported through counselling, practical strategies, compassionate guidance and emotional encouragement, in a safe, non-judgemental environment with no pressure, helping them feel confident and empowered in supporting their child.
